The first round of middle school device swaps will take place onsite February 3
rd to February 8
th by appointment only.
At Lansdowne Middle School, students in Grade 6-8 are eligible to participate in the first round of device swaps for HP Devices.
You must sign up on the date for your child’s appropriate grade level as indicated on the chart below. Each time period has 50 available slots; please do your best to keep your appointment as we can only swap the device during the scheduled appointment time.
Students with Windows HP Devices will bring both the device and charger to the school to be swapped. This includes broken Windows HP Devices.
Students who already have a Chromebook will
NOT participate in the device swap process and should not schedule an appointment. The second round of device swaps will be announced soon.

Appointment Sign-Up:
Every eligible student who has a BCPS Windows-based device (not Chromebook) must schedule a device swap appointment using sign-up genius.
Appointment Instructions:
Place the device and charger in a plastic bag and provide a label with the student’s full name and grade level.
In order to protect yourself and our staff, you must wear a face covering when you come to school.
If you drive to the school, remain in your vehicle unless you are directed to exit.
If you walk to school, please follow the designated signs to pick-up the materials.
While at school, please remain at least six feet away from other people. Do not bring friends with you; leave elementary children at home under the supervision of other family members, if possible.
If you are ill or under isolation or quarantine because of your own illness or close contact with an individual with COVID-19, do not come to school. Please contact the school to make alternative arrangements.

Please review this handout to determine if you have a HP Windows device that needs to be swapped. If you do not have one of the two identified devices, you do NOT need to schedule an appointment.
